searching for something better,
thinking life can be wrought by a will.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We are deaf dumb and blind.
Born on a steel plate, mothers barely get to hold their young.
Living and learning through a screen while beggars die at our footsteps. Civilised we are, we do not know how to sow nor how to reason without an app.
Drugged and stupefied, we do not see the game is rigged. Paying for another massacre, for water and shelter, we get told we’re the lucky ones, that we’re the guilty ones.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀There are times i feel so mad and i think we all ought to.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We see riches do what they want.
Covered in silk and oil, they fuck kids in plain sight.
The whole world chained and maimed while they dine at foriegn resorts. Ravaging the forest, they starve and kill everything to make money.
Stunned by blitz, we accept surviving as fantasy. Swallowing plastic, burning and drowning, we accept we’re the lucky ones, that we’re the guilty ones.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀There are times I feel so ashamed and I think we all are.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We must learn to be humans again.
Because we know power never lasts, we march with a pithfork and dare to desire a fairer system.
We have done so a hundred times over the course of human history when faced with injustice.
One man with a belief may be a heretic but foster camaraderie, it is a tangible dream.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀We know devil takes the hindmost.
Remain caring and passionate, forfeit the unjust wealth and be proud to deny corruption.
No idea emerges on its own. Many has been dreaming of an epoch beyond capitalism.
So keep searching, for life can only be wrought by hands that do not cease.
